Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday requested the opposition to put an end to the ongoing logjam in Parliament.
"I request everyone to end this logjam in the Parliament and let the house function," said Singh.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu had earlier said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would interfere in the issue 'as and when required'.
Almost half of the current Monsoon Session of Parliament has been non-functional due to disruptions by the opposition. The latter has been demanding resignations of Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan over the Lalit Modi controversy and Vyapam scam respectively.
