Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Ram Madhav has been roped in to help boost the party's election campaign in the state.
As per sources, Madhav is looking at crucial aspects of BJP's campaign, and also held a series of meetings with top Sangh functionaries, intellectuals and civil society members, in Bengaluru, earlier in the day.
Madhav has been tasked to push for a decisive shift in campaign efforts and will be working to repeat the party's performance in Tripura election campaign.
In March, BJP won with a thumping majority in left-stronghold Tripura, with Madhav as the party's Tripura in-charge.
Karnataka will go to polls on May 12 to elect its representatives for the 225-member assembly. The results will be out on May 15.
