Ben Stokes, who recently become the fastest England player to reach double century in Test, has admitted that he will probably never be able to play in the same way as he did on the second day of the second Test against South Africa in Cape Town.

Stokes took 163 balls to reach the milestone on the second day of the second Test against South Africa, surpassing England great Ian Botham's record of 220 balls against India in 1982.

Speaking on his performance, the 24-year-old all-rounder said that although it was a dream innings for him, he added that he might not be able to repeat this again in his entire life, Sport24 reported.

Stokes, who also broke the record of second quickest-double century in the Test history, said that he just wanted to put up a good score against the hosts and, therefore had tried hard to perform in the best way possible.

Earlier, Stokes had smashed 258 runs, including 30 boundaries and 11 sixes, to help his side post the first inning target of 629 runs against South Africa.
