Forward Karim Benzema put Real ahead in the 16th minute of the game before midfielder Dani Parejo levelled the score by smashing a penalty in the 45th minute, the Guardian reported.
Midfielder Gareth Bale netted the second goal for his side in the 85th minute followed by Alcacer's equalizer just one minute later.
Real are currently second in the standings, having seven wins from nine games they have played.
Rafael Benitez-led sides, which are just one point behind leaders Barcelona, will now lock horns with Deportivo in their next La Liga clash on January 10.
