Robin Wright has opened up about her 2010 divorce with Sean Penn, claiming that divorce in itself, and with children, is devastating.
The couple separated and reconciled many times over their 20-year relationship and 14-year marriage.
The Golden Globe winner, 47, told a UK publication that one of the reasons why the couple got back together and broke up so much was trying to keep the family together, which also consists of their kids, Dylan, 22, and 20-year-old Hopper, Us Magazine reported.
The 'House of Cards' star, who is currently engaged to actor Ben Foster, added that she and Penn tried again and again to reconcile for the sake of their kids.
