Spanish player Tommy Robredo, who has beaten seven-time Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer in the fourth round at the US Open tennis tournament, has thanked his fans for their support on Twitter.
Robredo said that he wanted to express a million thanks for everyone who had followed him on the big day.
The Spaniard also posted a photo that had together the three Spanish players who won their matches at Flushing Meadows on Monday, Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and himself.
Robredo beat Federer in straight sets in a shock upset that stopped the 17-time Grand Slam champion from setting up an epic clash with rival Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals.
