Rock veterans 'Status Quo' recently celebrated the sales of one million pints of their Piledriver ale.

The group launched Piledriver ale, named after one of their albums, and now the tipple has shifted its millionth pint in just seven months, the Daily Star reported.

Francis Rossi, Guitarist and singer, said that they haven't seen sales figures like that since the '70s and the success of their ale just kept rolling.

Chris Keating, of Wychwood Brewery, which brews the beer, said that not just the Quo fans liked the ale but the beer fans also appreciated it.
