Brendan Rodgers has cast doubt over Liverpool's credentials to win the Premier League, pointing out it would be unprecedented for a team to go from Seventh to first, according to reports.
According to the Daily Star, the Anfield side have moved within two points of leaders Arsenal while staying ahead of Chelsea, both on 33, with their superior goal difference.
The Reds' stunning victory against Tottenham on Sunday would of helped with that, putting five past a lacklustre Spurs at White Hart Lane, the report said.
However, the former Swansea chief is refusing to talk up Liverpool's chances with a title challenge, saying everyone has dreams, but managing this result would be unprecedented.
He added that Liverpool is mainly fighting to get back into the Champions League spots and they are just trying to improve.
