Ronan Keating has recently expressed that he went through a very dark and lonely period of his life after the band mate Stephen Gately's died in 2009.
The lead singer of Irish group 'Boyzone' said that it was "one of the happiest" part of his life, when the group reformed in 2007 but it was short-lived as their bandmate and best friend, fondly called as Steo, died in 2009, which left the band heartbroken, the Mirror reported.
The 'Heal Me' star was exposed for having an affair and his marriage collapsed in April 2012.
The 'When You Say Nothing at All' celebrity mentioned that fame has its good and bad sides and he has experienced the downside of fame.
However, after two therapy-filled years on, Keating admitted that he has done some wrong things but his family has made it through the tough times.
The 37-year-old artist would be playing the lead in the 'West End musical Once,' his first stage role and he's settled in London with new love and 'soulmate' Storm Uechtritz.
