Caroline Wozniacki has gotten engaged to her golf pro boyfriend Rory McIlroy.
The 23-year-old tennis player, who has been dating McIlroy since 2011, took to twitter to express her joy and share a pic of her engagement ring, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Wozniacki wished her followers happy new year and said that she started the year with a bang by saying yes to her boyfriend.
McIlroy also confirmed the news on the microblogging site by saying that it's going to be a great year for him and he has had his first victory, as his girlfriend said yes.
The 24-year-old golfer's spokesman has confirmed that he popped the question in Sydney, where Wozniacki is starting to prepare for the Australian Open in Melbourne.
