Augustine Pinto, Grace Pinto and Ryan Pinto, owners of Ryan International Group, on Thursday evening submitted their passports before the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

This came after the Bombay High Court gave the trio the interim protection from arrest on the condition that they submit their passports by nine pm.

The Bombay High Court rejected the anticipatory bail applications of the trio during a hearing on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABAs).

The High Court's decision of rejecting bail plea application of the Pinto family has been welcomed by the father of seven-year-old Pradhuman Thakur, who was murdered on September 8 in the Ryan International School in Gurugram.

"The Bombay High Court strengthened my trust in Indian judiciary. I am happy and am thankful to the High Court," Varun Thakur told ANI.

Thakur also said that justice will surely prevail and won't be denied to his family.

"We requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in the case and you can yourself see how seriously the Court has taken all this matter," he said.

The Bombay High Court is also hearing arguments on the aspect of maintainability of applications in its jurisdiction because the interveners and public prosecutor have claimed that these applications are not maintainable.
