Foreign and external affairs ministers of all eight SAARC nations are attending the 36th meeting of the regional grouping's Council of Ministers in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is expected to meet and talk with her Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz.
Nepal is hosting the two-day 18th SAARC Summit here, and the Council of Ministers meeting is being hosted by its Foreign Minister, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey.
Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka are attending the meeting.
Afghanistan and Bhutan have sent four-member delegations, while a ten-member delegation is being sent by Bangladesh. India and Sri Lanka have sent a nine member delegation each, while Pakistan has sent a seven member delegation. Hosts Nepal will be represented by 17 members.
