Sacked Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has reportedly hinted that his next job may be away from England, although he added that he will take a six-month sabbatical before seeking a new job in football.
Villas-Boas was sacked earlier this month after Tottenham lost 5-0 at home to Liverpool but his representatives are reported to have been approached by West Bromwich Albion as they seek a replacement for Steve Clarke.
However, Metro.co.uk reports that the Portuguese wants to take a break to recharge his batteries and has insisted that it is 'impossible' to conceive he could work for old rivals Benfica or Sporting Lisbon back in Portugal in the future, adding that he is thinking of waiting until the end of the season before thinking of embracing a new project.
Villas-Boas also said that it is now a time for him and his coaching staff to reflect and think about the repositioning of their careers, although he added that England was a good experience for him and a great professional development.
