American actress Sarah Hyland and her boy friend of more than two years, Dominic Sherwood, have broken up.
The 26-year-old actress and the 27-year-old British Shadowhunters actor's breakup was mutual, reports E online.
One of them said that it is genuinely mutual and they truly remain friends.
Hyland, who recently made her debut on Shadowhunters and Sherwood met on the sets of movie 'Vampire Academy' in 2014 and began dating that winter.
In February 2015, the couple was photographed kissing outside a Hollywood nightclub and spent Valentine's Day in Disneyland.
The 'Modern Family' star and Sherwood adopted a puppy together, a chocolate lab named Boo, who joined her dog Barkley in 2016.
Prior to Sherwood, Hyland dated actor Matt Prokop for more than five years and ended the relationship in 2014, alleging that Prokop choked her and threatened to burn down her house.
