Saudi-led airstrikes have killed at least 44 people in central Sanaa on the main headquarters of the Yemeni Army.
According to Dawn News, the civilians were also wounded in the attack that destroyed many houses in Tahrir district in Sanaa.
Residents initially said that four explosions shook the compound.
The escalation of the violence came despite progress towards convening United Nations-backed peace talks.
