Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Thursday alleged that the Congress Party has indulged in corruption for years.

Rudy further said that the grand old party began the propaganda against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA Government after seeing the achievements of the first year in office.

"The Congress has sunk deep into corruption. They began propaganda against the BJP Government in the country. The Congress has indulged in corruption since years; they were in power most of times in these 60 years. Be it the coal scam or the 2G spectrum scam, several scams took place in the country during their tenure and they were voted out of power by the people," Rudy told ANI here.

The BJP on Wednesday unleashed a counteroffensive against the Congress by releasing a sting tape to 'expose' corruption charges against Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat in liquor scam and loot during the devastating 2013 floods.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha has been adjourned till noon after the BJP raised the Robert Vadra issue.

Both Houses of Parliament yesterday witnessed repeated adjournments after the Congress and other opposition parties demanded the resignations of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje but the BJP rallied behind the duo.
