Scientists have come up with a list of most famous people in history by analyzing he number of times they have been mentioned in the books compiled by Google.
In their book, Uncharted, two scientists Erez Aiden and Jean-Baptiste Michel have tried to explain the trends in language and culture while accessing Google's database, the New York Post reported.
The authors and a researcher named Adrian Veres have looked at notable people born in a particular year and figured out which one was mentioned in books more than any other.
10 most famous people born from 1940-1949 according to the list:
1940: British rock star
1941: US rock star
1942: US actress and singer
1943: British literary theorist, "Literary Theory: An Introduction"
1944: Prime minister of India
1945: President of Nicaragua
1946: US president
1947: British Indian writer, "The Satanic Verses"
1948: US Supreme Court justice
