A fight broke out between women protesters and police in Agra today after a boy went missing in the Yamuna.

The protesters had jammed the Yamuna Bridge after three boys started drowning while crossing the Yamuna from Hathi Ghaat on Tuesday. Two of them were saved but the third boy, Anu, a native of Gautam Nagar could not be traced.

The disappearance of the boy angered the women folk, who lashed out at the police. However, the protesters were dispelled from the site after a baton charge by the police.
