Selena Gomez came to a suicidal fan's defense and blasted an abusive Instagram user for bullying her.
The 21-year-old singer leaped to the suicidal fan's aid, who posted a scar on her left arm along with a caption revealing her suicidal thoughts, and told the abusive user to "stop being a fan", the Mirror reported.
The 'Come and Get It' singer told the bully to stop using her name because she doesn't want them as a fan.
She added that she encourages love, confidence and kindness and snubbed the provoking user, who mocked the fan and urged her to cut herself.
Gomez also reached out to the first fan and discouraged her from self-harming and telling her other followers to never consider it "to get attention".
