Bollywood superstars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt landed in national capital to promote their upcoming romantic comedy flick 'Shaandaar'.
The duo that will be seen together for the first time on the silver screen looked all geared up and excited on the occasion.
Interacting with media persons on the occasion the 'Haider' star spoke about the response he has been getting so far from the trailer and said; "The response has been really positive, in fact it has been overwhelmingly positive. I have always said this that we started making this film 'Shaandaar' none of us were really hot news so to say. All of us were finding ourselves and the last year has been amazing for director Vikas Bahl with 'Queen' and for Alia with 'Two States' and 'Highway' and it's been a good year for me with 'Haider' which has helped create certain anticipation for 'Shaandaar'."
While the 'Highway' actress said it's a fairy tale film based on a destination weeding with a lot of quirk and fun.
"It is about a destination wedding, so all of us were outdoors in this beautiful location. 'Shaandaar' is fun fairy tale film because it has a very dreamy fairy tale vibe. If you see the trailer also it starts with a hero coming in a horse and taking the girl away. It has that all feeling to it but it has a lot of quirk and a lot of fun," she added.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane the film is slated for an October 22 release.
