Shuttler Sindhu completes Macau Open hat-trick
Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has defeated Japan's Minatsu Mitani to claim the Macau Open Grand Prix title for the third year running on Sunday.
The two-time bronze medallist at world championship overcame Mitani 21-9, 21-23, 21-14 in a thrilling summit clash that lasted one hour and six minutes.
Although the Japanese rival bounced back in the second game, Sindhu regained the initiative and clinched the decider game in an emphatic style.
