Sikh trader gunned down in Peshawar

A Sikh trader from Peshawar's Sikh community was gunned down in Nothia, an area in the Gulberg neighbourhood in Peshawar.

The Dawn said the trader, a resident of Dabgari, was fired upon at the grocery shop he ran in Nothia in Peshawar Cantonment.

The man died on the spot and his attackers who have not yet been identified managed to flee the area.

The body has been shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital from where it will be moved to the Khyber Medical College for an autopsy.

Police is investigating the circumstances around the incident and motives of the attackers.
