Sir Elton John has topped a list of most charitable British celebrities of 2013.
The 67-year-old English singer-songwriter, who donated a massive 38.4 million dollars to charities in 2013, including 22.4 million dollars raised by gigs for his Aids foundations, making him the highest-ranking celebrity on The Sunday Times Giving List 2013, Contactmusic reported.
J.K. Rowling was second in the rankings after giving 15 million dollars to charities, ahead of U2 frontman Bono, who donated 12.8 million dollars.
Others on the list are David and Victoria Beckham, who donated 5.4 million dollars to charity in 2013, rockers Coldplay, who gave 4.5 million dollars, and One Direction, who raised 3.4 million dollars.
