Chouhan promised to provide a sum of Rs. one lakh to the kin of the deceased on behalf of the government.
"A sum of one lakh will be provided to the kin of the deceased on behalf of the government and besides providing ten lakhs separately," he said.
The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister also promised free education for the children of the deceased.
On Sunday, Chouhan had said that strict action would be taken against those responsible for the death of a head constable in the state's Morena district.
