Solicitor General Ranjit Kumar on Thursday rubbished the Congress Party's allegations about his reported meeting with liquor baron Vijay Mallya and said that he had no idea about the same.

"I have no idea about what the allegations are and I don't know what meeting they are talking about. I don't have a Twitter account. I don't tweet or follow people," Kumar told ANI.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had in a series of tweets earlier alleged that THE Solicitor General met Mallya in London.

"Was India's top law officer sent to meet Mallya in London? What legal advice was given and on whose instructions? Doesn't SG Ranjit Kumar represent CBI, ED in Court? Mallya is facing CBI, ED probe for defaulting on 9091 Cr. Modiji, Nation wants to know," Surjewala said.

Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had asked the BJP-led NDA Government to come clean on the Solicitor General's meeting with Mallya in London.

"Modi government should come clean. First Modi government allowed Mallya to flee and now sending its law officer to meet him? Why," Kejriwal tweeted.
