Sonam Kapoor, who is flying high since 'Neerja' release, expressed her desire to work in the West, but only if she gets a strong character to play.
In an interview with a leading daily, the 30-year-old actor, who is known to be the fashionista of BTown, said that she had worked very hard not to be this exotic Indian girl in India and to prove that she took up a film like 'Neerja.'
When asked if she doesn't like international stardom, Sonam Kapoor replied, "For me, conquering the world is not important," rather conquering and honing my craft is more important.
She further said that she would not like to start all over again and will only do something if it holds a lot of weight - she wants a "strong, amazing" character.
With this statement, does Sonam want to take a dig at Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra who are all set to make their Hollywood debuts with 'XXX' sequel opposite Vin Diesel and 'Baywatch' opposite the Rock respectively.
