SRK's 'Dear Zindagi,' tops 2017 charts on iTunes

American multinational technology company, Apple, has recently unveiled the list of top 2017 iTunes movies in which Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dear Zindagi' tops the charts.

According to the organization, 'Dear Zindagi' bags the number one slot, followed by Raees at number five.

'Dear Zindagi' was co-Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment along with Dharma Productions and Hope Productions.

However, 'Raees' was co-produced with Excel Entertainment.

Both the movies feature Shah Rukh Khan reprising very different roles and garnered critical and commercial success across online and offline platforms.

'Dear Zindagi,' which emerged as the most popular film of 2017 on iTunes, also stars Alia Bhatt.

The movie was much appreciated by critics and moviegoers alike.

The plot centers around Kaira (Alia Bhatt) who is a budding cinematographer in search of a perfect life.

Her encounter with Dr Jehangir (Khan), an unconventional thinker, helps her gain a new perspective on life.

She discovers that happiness is all about finding comfort in life's imperfections.

On the other hand, with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees,' sets in the early 80's and 90's in Gujarat, is a fictitious story of a man, Raees (Khan) who builds an entire empire from scratch.

'Sully,' 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' and 'Baahubali: The Beginning' are some of the other films in the list.
