'Nymphomaniac' star Stacy Martin will be starring in upcoming thriller 'Taj Mahal,' which is based on the 2008 bombings in Mumbai, India.
The project, which will be written and helmed by French screenwriter Nicolas Saada would be shot in French and English and would feature an international cast including Italy's Alba Rohrwacher, French actor Louis-Do de Lencquesaing and British actress Gina McKee, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The film would the show the terrorist attack at Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which was seized with its guests taken hostage. In the real incident, 164 people were killed and more than 300 injured.
The 10 million dollars project, which would be produced by Patrick Sobelman of Agat Films with Paris-based Backup Media financing, would begin filming in October and is anticipated to release in 2015.
