American Startup Athos has developed Smart Apparel which tells us if we are exercising properly and are not working on the wrong part of the body, favoring one side over the other, or doing anything else that might lead to an ineffective workout or even injury.
Athos smart apparel has the built-in sensors can track muscle effort and activity, then send that data to the smartphone app, giving you real-time information (or a post-workout replay) about how you're doing.
According to the San Francisco-based techcrunch.com web site, only smart shorts are available at this time. The shirts (which measure upper body activity) are supposed to come out this summer.
Athos core device is available for USD 199.
