Emmy award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown is letting everyone know how he really felt about getting cut off during his Emmys acceptance speech while Nicole Kidman was given time to finish hers.

While appearing on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert', host Stephen Colbert apologised to Brown for not being able to stop the 'This is Us' actor from being played off by the orchestra and then having his microphone and spotlight cut off.

The actor was not in the mood to let go this opportunity and took a jab at how the whole thing played out.

He said, "Listen man, not everybody can be pretty Australian white women who have won Oscars in the past."

He added, "Not that I'm blaming her. It's not her fault."

The 'Marshall' star also shared that he got the opportunity to make a longer speech backstage.

The 41-year-old actor also revealed that even if he did not win Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, he would have been "pretty cool" to be nominated alongside other great actors, like Kevin Spacey ('House of Cards') and Anthony Hopkins ('Westworld').

"When you look at the company, we had seven people in our category, which was the most out of any of the acting categories. To be the ninth, that's pretty cool," Brown said.
