England legend Alec Stewart has said that seamer Mitchell Johnson has turned the tables on England and earned Ashes redemption in the process.

According to the Mirror, Stewart said that the roles of Johnson and England's batsmen have completely reversed in three years.

Battle hardened, tough, uncompromising and highly talented were descriptions attributed to England's performances when they retained the 'little urn' in the same series, Stewart said.

He added that it was fair to say the tables have been truly turned and its Johnson who is earning the rave reviews with his devastating quick bowling.
