Sturridge says 'telepathic bond' with Suarez behind 'lethal partnership' on field

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has claimed that his lethal strike partnership with Luis Suarez is due to a telepathic bond between the duo.

Sturridge and Suarez have scored 14 goals between them already this term as part of Liverpool's excellent start to the season.

According to Metro.co.uk, Sturridge said that a telepathic bond between him and Suarez is responsible for their natural and lethal partnership, adding that the fact that they get on well on and off the pitch makes a huge difference to how they play together.

Sturridge further said that the relationship between them is so potent that they both know when to pass to each other and when to make runs, adding that it also means that they can do more 'off-the-cuff' and instinctive moves being on the same wavelength.

Sturridge, who is now considered a crucial man for both club and country, hoped that the 'relationship' between them would improve the more they play together.
