Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy has made another controversial remark by calling the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students and professors "naxalites."

"Not only students, I am also calling JNU professors as naxal," said Swamy while responding to a question here on Friday.

Speaking on his recommendation to change the name of JNU to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose University, he said that Bose was far more educated as compared to Nehru.
