Pakistan suspended ace off-spinner Saeed Ajmal believes that he is confident enough of clearing the upcoming official bowling test in Chennai after successfully passing an unofficial test.
Reflecting on clearing an unofficial test, Ajmal said that the hard work of the past few months seems to have paid off after they saw the results of the recent unofficial test in Birmingham, Pak Passion reported.
Ajmal further said that there had been a lot of improvement in the results and he was absolutely delighted that all of his deliveries were measured at under the 15 degrees limit, adding that he was very confident that he could pass the official test in Chennai, the report added.
Ajmal has been suspended from international cricket after tests found his bowling action was illegal, which subsequently led him to rule himself out of the upcoming World Cup.
Pakistan will open their World Cup campaign against arch-rivals India on February 15 in Adelaide.
