Vashistha Narayan, the state president of the Janata Dal (United) on Sunday, called the Swabhiman rally an answer to Prime Minister Modi's mean words for Bihar.
"The people of Patna will gather at the Gandhi Maidan to give an answer to the mean words spoken by Narendra Modi. This rally won't be in Patna, Patna will be at the rally instead," said Narayan.
Narayan also mentioned how Bihar has been an instrument of change throughout Indian history.
"Change always began from Bihar, whether it was the Gandhi rally, or the Jai Prakash Narayan movement. And once again, the people of Bihar would bring about a change," added Narayan.
In the wake of the upcoming elections, a grand alliance of the JD (U), RJD and Congress is organising the 'Swabhiman rally' at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
