In a recent interview, wife of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, shared the tumult that followed after she released a private phone conversation of Taylor Swift and husband regarding his controversial single, 'Famous.'

Referring to the 26-year-old singer's big group of girlfriends, including the likes of Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose, Karlie Kloss and Selena Gomez, 35-year-old Kardashian revealed that she received messages from some of them after the Snapchat was released, reports The Mirror.

"Girls in her squad hit me up on text. I'm not petty," she said.

The video post appeared to show the 'Red' singer agreeing to being mentioned as "that bitch" in the American rapper's controversial track, 'Famous.'

This would verify his claim about speaking to the pop star prior to the release because following the release, Swift had publicly condemned the track saying, "You cannot approve a song that you haven't heard."

The couple could have faced legal action as it is illegal in California to record a phone call without both parties' consent.

However, the reality star does not think so and actually claimed to be a fan of the 'Bad Blood' hitmaker.

"I never publicly talk bad about people. I still don't feel like I have. I'm being honest. I'm a fan. I like her music.," she told a magazine.

In the Snapchat video, Swift is heard saying it is "like a compliment" but her representative had said at the time that the singer was never called for approval or made aware of the actual lyrics before its release.
