Ten Chittagong Varsity teachers hurt in bomb attack

At least ten teachers of Chittagong University were hurt in a crude bomb attack perpetrated by activists of the Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of the Bangladesh's fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami party, on Wednesday morning.

According to a report by the Daily Star, the injured teachers were travelling in two university buses that were heading towards the campus.

Five of the ten teachers injured have been admitted for treatment to the Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
