Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has donated a sum of 4.39 lakhs to the Indian wheelchair cricket team on Monday.
Wheelchair Cricket India Secretary-General Pradeep Raj told ANI that he had sent an e-mail to Sachin seeking some sponsorship following which the latter donated the required amount of money.
"I had emailed him (Sachin Tendulkar) and his office got in touch with me after three days. They asked me some questions and after some days Sachin donated the money to us. It is really a huge help from his side. We all are very excited and want to thank him," Raj said.
He further revealed his and his team's plan to participate in the Asia Cup and aim at delivering their best.
