'The Lego Movie' sequel set to release in 2017

The sequel of the animated 'The Lego Movie' is set to hit the box office on May 26th, 2017, it has been revealed.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. has not yet decided upon a title and other details regarding the film are unknown.

However, it has been revealed that Jared Stern, who is one of the writers of 'The Internship' and 'Wreck-It Ralph', will be helping with the script of the upcoming sequel.

'The Lego Movie' has already earned considerable acclaim in the weeks since its debut, and has raked in 151 million dollars in just two weeks.
