Former world number one Tiger Woods might be his own coach now as he posted a blog on his website on Thursday stating that there was no hard and set rule on finding a new swing coach.
Woods, who completed only 25 rounds this year because of a back injury that required surgery, split with Sean Foley last month after two years.
The American golf ace is not playing until the World Challenge in December. He said that he needs to get healthy before he sorts out where to go with his game, Sport24 reported.
Woods said that he is keeping his options very, very open, adding that he has bounced some ideas off Notah Begay, a former teammate at Stanford University and a longtime friend.
Woods said that they have discussed what direction he should go with his game.
