Olympic star Tom Daley's TV series 'Splash' might be axed if it's ratings don't pickup soon, it has been revealed.
Over 5.3 million people had tuned in to watch the final of the first series of the show, and although the second series was launched with 4.9 million viewers, the show hit a low of just 3.6 million recently with viewers deserting it ever week, the Daily Star reported.
According to a source, a lot of money has been spent on improving it for the second series but despite it looking visually better and more professional, the ratings haven't increased.
The source admitted that if ratings drop below 3 million before the end, the show will be in trouble.
The source added that the general feeling is that the novelty factor of having Daley has worn off and there is not enough diving to keep a lot of viewers hooked.
