Abbey Clancy is reportedly trying to tone down her Liverpool accent by using self-help guides in order to land some TV presenting roles.
The 28-year-old wife of footballer Peter Crouch is keen to get an anchoring job, but fears that her strong accent can hamper her chances, the Mirror reported.
Sources have revealed that winning the 'Strictly Come Dancing' show has given Clancy a massive boost and she has been inundated with offers, but thinks toning down her accent will open more doors.
Insiders added that her relatives have been teasing her about it after noticing the difference, and she has been searching for techniques to speak slower and a bit more clearly.
