Hollywood icon Tom Hanks has reportedly revealed that he will be voting for US President Barack Obama in the 2016 elections.

Hanks apparently want to see Obama run for a third term, as contrary to the prohibitions of the Constitution.

The actor, who is starring in the soon-to-be-released 'Captain Phillips' was in Washington this week for a premiere showing at the Newseum and declared that he is choosing Obama for four more years, Washington Times reports.

The report said that the 22nd Amendment limits the number of times a president can hold the high office to two terms.
