Treebo appoints Maulik Shukla as VP Engineering

India's third largest hotel chain Treebo Hotels on Monday announced appointment of former Engineering Head of Flipkart supply chain Maulik Shukla as its Vice President of Engineering.

In his new role, Maulik will work closely with Kadam Jeet Jain, co-founder of Treebo to further build the technology infrastructure and develop unique technology solutions to improve guest experience across Treebo's 250+ properties.

He will spearhead Platforms and Solutions aimed at creating a competitive edge for both hotel partners and Treebo through technology innovations.

Maulik comes with more than one decade of experience in leadership, management, planning and execution. The new appointment is indicative of Treebo's focus on building a robust technology team and infrastructure to stay true to its core promise of delivering quality stay at scale.

Prior to joining Treebo, Maulik was associated with Flipkart as the Director of Engineering. At Flipkart, he built e-commerce giant's supply chain engineering group from the scratch and managed supply chain technology stack for last four years.

He led some of the some of the marquee projects for the brand including building several core platforms and value added services such as EKart Courier, alternate delivery model, logistics service externalization and the last mile route planning.
