United States President Donald Trump on Friday said the upcoming G7 talks in Canada will be centered on the unfair trade practices against the United States specifically by the host country.

While addressing the media at the White House just before departing for the 44th G7 summit to be held today in Canada's La Malbaie, Trump said that he would work toward ending the bid for expelling Russia from the G7 group.

Trump in his media address mentioned of the trade war between the United States and its close ally Canada as the latter had criticised the US move of sanctioning trade tariffs on it along with Mexico, and the European Union.

He further reiterated his threats to call of the North America Free Trade Alliance (NAFTA) if Canada does not change its trade practices.

He further said that, he would reconsider pardoning boxing legend Muhammad Ali as he said he thinking "very seriously" about the same reported the Fox News.

Ali was convicted in 1967, in a case of draft evasion during his involvement in the US-Vietnam war. He breathed his last on June 3, 2016.

Trump at a couple of previous instances depicted his will to grant Ali pardon posthumously.

He further hinted at rallying for Russia to bring it back to the G7 bloc after it was kicked out in 2014.

He also mentioned of the various agendas to be taken up during the G7 summit.

Trump had earlier mentioned in a Tweet that he would miss out attending the second day of the summit on account of preparing for the 'historic' summit of him and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to be held in Singapore on 12 June.
