Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Pakistan Essa Abdullah Albasha Alnoaimi met Chief of Army Staff, General QamarJaved Bajwa on Wednesday and appreciated the role of Pakistan Army in fight against terrorism and militancy.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the envoy expressed the desire of UAE to continue working together for peace and prosperity in the region.
Both discussed matters of mutual interest between the two countries.
General Bajwa condoled the loss of lives of UAE nationals in recent Kandahar blasts.
He appreciated the role of ambassador in enhancing Pak-UAE cooperation in different fields.
The Army Chief also thanked the Ambassador for UAE contributions towards development projects in Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
