While hinting at possibility of alliance-break with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday lauded Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

"The road that Akhilesh's government has constructed on which the fighter jets can also land and take off is really laudable. It is very good thing to know," Thackeray told ANI in an exclusive interview.

The Shiv Sena supremo further alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is involved in a politics of double standard.

"Before elections they say something else and post elections they say something else. They are doing politics of double standard," he added.

After snapping ties with BJP in civic polls, the Shiv Sena and BJP alliance has been going through a rough phase.

Alleging that there is no transparency in the government led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Shiv Sena yesterday threatened to pull out of the coalition in the state.

The Shiv Sena threatened to withdraw its support to BJP for the third time in a row.

Thackeray had earlier said that the Maharashtra Government is on notice period, adding his party members are ready with their resignations.
