A student, who had been accused blackmailing Tamara Ecclestone with a kiss-and-tell story from her former boyfriend, was recently cleared of the charges.
Jakir Uddin was accused of demanding 200,000 pounds from the 29-year-old F1 heiress, in exchange for the silence of her former boyfriend Derek Rose, the Daily Star reported.
The 21-year-old student admitted emailing Ecclestone's agent along with Rose.
However, Uddin said that he did it only in the hope of furthering his friend's career.
Uddin said that he was very pleased with the verdict at Southwark Crown Court, as it was a huge relief that justice was done after a long time.
