A couple, from Rockford, Michigan, who already have 11 children - all boys, welcomed their 12th son into the world and claimed that they were elated with the newest addition, despite the fact that they wanted a girl.
During a hospital TV interview, that has gone viral on the net, the mother, Kateri Schwandt, joked that sometimes she felt like she was living in a locker room, the New York Daily News reported.
Her son, Tucker Ray Schwandt, was born on August 4.
Kateri said that her family did not bother to know the sex of the child before he was first born, because it has always been a boy.
However, Tucker's father, Jay Schwandt, admitted that he had been hoping for a girl, and asking friends and family to "think pink."
The Schwandt kids range in age from 21 to 19 months, with Tucker becoming the youngest at less than a week old.
