Indian shuttlers Parupalli Kashyap and HS Prannoy will face each other in an all Indian men's singles final at the US Open Grand Prix being played at Anaheim, California on Sunday.
Second seed Prannoy defeated Tien Minh Nguyen of Vietnam in straight games, 21-14, 21-19 in the first semi-final to sail into the final.
Meanwhile, unseeded Kashyap, after losing the first game, came back and beat Korea's Kwang Hee Heo 15-21, 21-15, 21-16 to storm into the final.
Both Kashyap and Prannoy have won a match each in their two previous meetings but they haven't faced each other on the international circuit since the second round of the German Open in 2014.
In the doubles event, it was curtains for 2015 US Open finalists Manu Atri and B Sumeeth Reddy as they failed to enter the finals after losing to top seeds Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han of Chinese Taipei 21-12, 12-21, 22-20 in a close game.
